Projet 1: « Contribution to the study of surface properties and their applications in the slowing down of heavy ions. ».
The study of slowing remains today a very active area of scientific research giving rise to several publications annually. Despite the great scientific progress made in this field, relevant questions, requiring still very detailed investigations both theoretically and experimentally, continue to be asked.

• A multitude of applications of the knowledge of ion-matter interaction.
• Experimental data on the stopping power of heavy ions still remains deficient.
• Divergences between experimental data.
• Divergences between formulations and experimental data.

Thus our contribution will have two aspects one theoretical and the other experimental.
