The Argentine Ministry of Foreign Relations has launched a translation support program for the year 2023, entitled “SUD” aimed at promoting Argentine literature abroad, through the translation of works by Argentine authors, notably towards the Arabic language, with financial assistance.

The program was launched in accordance with the commitment of the Argentine Government to promote the translation of works by Argentine authors, in order to facilitate their edition in foreign languages, said works can be chosen from the different literary genres and classic Argentine authors and contemporary works whose themes are representative of national identity.

Please note that the deadline for submitting grant applications is fixed as of September 30, 2023.
