Career opportunities
The purpose of the proposed aeronautical structures license is to train specialists who master the different specifications of flying structures, their operating conditions, their resistance and endurance conditions. License students will be trained to be able to maintain an aeronautical structure.
This course brings together through three years of teaching, the scientific and technical bases necessary for the integration of graduates in the maintenance of the aeronautical field both in Algeria and abroad. It will be able to meet the needs of the aeronautical sector in the field of aeronautical construction and maintenance in Algeria.
The graduates thus trained will have a thorough knowledge of aeronautical structures, and also of the preliminary design aspect. They will be able to monitor aeronautical structures at maintenance centers. The skills conferred are as follows
- Aeronautical Maintenance - Structure
- Structural Technical Office
- Structural Operational Support
- Technical framework for upkeep, maintenance, new works
- In-depth knowledge of aeronautical structures, both on the design aspect and on the dimensioning aspect.
- Project management which focuses on monitoring the development and design of aeronautical structures, in design and development offices. Design, forecast and analysis of the life cycle of an aeronautical system.
- Knowledge of the state of the art in this specialized field and its main technologies.
- Ability to conduct a scientific study on a subject related to this field.
The employability of aircraft structure licensees is done both abroad and in Algeria. Some are with Airbus industry, others with the Canadian manufacturer Bombardier. At the local level, aircraft structure licensees are taken from Air Algerie, Tassili Airlines, the air force command, technical control bodies, and the Cheraga welding center. From the civil protection of the General Directorate of National Security In 2014, the institute established an agreement between the national office of meteorology and Tassili airlines. Among the essential points of the agreements is the management of student internships. The institute also created a consortium in 2014 with all the partners of the aeronautical activity in Algeria.
