Congress on Agri-food, Nutrition,
and Sustainable Development
JAGRO 6-2025
Objectives
This scientific event aims to bring together specialists in the agri-food
and nutrition sector to discuss current challenges related to food safety,
nutrition, and public health. It follows in the footsteps of the five previous
editions organized by the Research Laboratory in Science, Technology,
and Sustainable Development of the Department of Food Science over
the past five years.
Intended for teacher-researchers, doctoral students, and industry
professionals, this seminar serves as a platform for sharing and
presenting research findings related to its core themes. It also aims to
strengthen collaboration between national and international universities,
as well as socio-economic partners, by fostering the creation of thematic
networks aligned with national priorities: food security, public health, and
renewable energy.
The selected themes are of strategic importance to the country’s
economy. Our goal is to co-develop, in partnership with economic
stakeholders and research centers with expertise in the field, a shared
vision for the future of agriculture and the agri-food industry in an
increasingly complex and high-stakes global context.
